About Veda

Veda and her sister Rue arrived at the shelter as strays, leaving their past shrouded in mystery. They appear to be young, around 1.5 to 2 years old, yet weigh only about 35 pounds, resembling German Shepherds in physique. Both girls have lived in isolation, likely confined to a pen before they found their way to us. As a result, they’re quite scared of people but find joy in each other’s company, often playing together in the yard. Veda will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, where she can continue to gain confidence. It's essential for her to be matched with an experienced owner who understands the needs of dogs that haven’t been well socialized. While she is still hesitant to approach for pets, signs of trust are starting to emerge. If you're ready to help Veda and Rue overcome their fears and build a loving bond, consider adopting one or both of them. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
