He is already altered and vaccinated, making him a great candidate for adoption. Though he has only one eye, Gordy is full of life and joy. He gets along well with cats and dogs but is best suited for a home without children. His leash-walking skills are improving with practice. He’s a charming companion ready to become a loving part of your family.

Meet Gordy, the one-eyed wonder with a heart of gold, currently in Fredonia, WI. At just 1 year old, this handsome boy is eager to find a family that will support him as he grows in confidence. Gordy adores all kinds of toys — if it squeaks, bounces, or rolls, he's ready to play! After some fun, you'll usually catch him munching on his favorite bone. Treats are also a great way to win him over and aid in his training, and good news: he’s already crate trained. Gordy is still learning that the world can be a friendly place. He tends to feel overwhelmed when meeting new people, so multiple meet-and-greet sessions will help him feel comfortable. He would thrive in a home without children but would love a friendly dog sibling to serve as a role model. Gordy's working on his leash skills, and while car rides can be a little daunting for him, he’s making progress with a bit of patience. Despite his one eye, Gordy doesn’t let that hold him back! He runs, plays, and explores just like any other energetic pup.
