Location- -Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I'd love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I’m smart and food/treat motivated. - Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained! - Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all! - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are: - I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags. - Wayside recommends that I have a fenced-in yard so I have a secure area to release my energy. - Wayside recommends no apartments or shared living spaces for me. I like to use my voice when I am excited - I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!
