About Tyke

Meet Tyke and you'll understand what "Man's Best Friend" is all about. Loyal and affectionate, Tyke sticks right by your side and never tires of being close. He craves attention, soaking up every ounce of love you offer, and has zero respect for personal space—if you're on the couch, he's probably trying to squeeze in next to you. Tyke is a laid-back companion with low-to-medium energy, happiest when there's a treat in sight. He's working on his commands and delivers plenty of goofy moments as he figures things out. You’ll get a dog who enjoys life at full volume, taking silliness seriously and making simple moments great. Kennel training is a work in progress for him. Sometimes he gets anxious, but his foster reports steady improvement when left alone. Potty breaks are no issue—he's fully house trained and lets you know when it's time. He gets along really well with other dogs and kids, fitting right into a home with a canine friend and a family to share his oversized personality with. Tyke does require another dog in his home to thrive. He arrives neutered, microchipped, fully vetted, and current on heartworm prevention. Your new best friend is just one click away.
