Meet Toffee & Cookie If you've ever wanted to be greeted like a celebrity every time you walk into a room, Toffee and Cookie are ready for the job. These two little social butterflies absolutely love people. The second their foster mom pokes her head through the door, they come running to greet her — usually with plenty to say. Think of them as the greeters at church: they spot you, hurry over, and immediately strike up a conversation like they've been waiting all day just to see you. And wherever you find one, the other is never far away. Toffee and Cookie are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. Fortunately, when the package includes two kittens this sweet, social, and entertaining, that's hardly a hardship. Toffee and Cookie are affectionate, outgoing, playful kittens who want to be right in the middle of whatever is happening. They love attention, love to play, and are always happy to provide a little running commentary along the way. Both are wonderfully vocal and expressive, with their own distinct personalities and plenty of opinions to share. They're also the kind of kittens who can fit beautifully into a busy family. They're great with kids, great with dogs, and love being surrounded by people and activity. They chase toys, wrestle with each other, explore everything they can find, and then happily settle in for affection when playtime is over. These two seem to approach life with the same philosophy: the more friends, the better. Their story began when they were brought into a local shelter as strays. Soon after, Toffee faced a much bigger challenge when he was diagnosed with FIP — a disease that, not very long ago, offered kittens like him little hope. But Toffee received treatment, responded beautifully, and beat FIP. Today, he is a happy, healthy, energetic boy enjoying every bit of the kittenhood he fought so hard to have. And through it all, Cookie has been his girl — his playmate, his companion, and his partner in all things kitten. Their bond is part of what makes these two so special, and we want them to head into their next chapter the same way they've come this far: together. Toffee and Cookie are the perfect blend of cuddles, chaos, sweetness, and just enough spice to keep life entertaining. They'll greet you at the door, make you laugh, keep you company, and make sure your home is never, ever boring. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
