Meet Austin & Aubrey—the quintessential poster kittens who embody everything wonderful about young boy cats. They are active, playful, curious, affectionate, and incredibly handsome, wrapped up in one irresistible package of kitten perfection. These sweet brothers' story began with uncertainty. Someone abandoned these very tame kittens in the parking lot of the Malco Movie Theater in Columbus, Mississippi, hoping that a kindhearted person would find them. Thankfully, they were right. A compassionate Good Samaritan discovered the frightened pair, kept them safe, and contacted Animal Control, who brought them into our rescue. Their days of wondering where they belong are over. Now they're searching for the forever family that will love and cherish them for the rest of their lives. Austin and Aubrey look like fraternal twins, with just enough differences to tell them apart. Both are stunning classic tabbies with the signature tabby "M" on their foreheads, beautiful bullseye swirls on their sides, and charming white accents on their noses, chests, and tiny toes. Austin has a narrow, pointed white blaze on his face and a darker overall coat with fewer smoky gray swirls. Aubrey has a slightly wider white blaze on his face and more smoky gray swirls woven throughout his black tabby pattern. Life with Austin and Aubrey is never boring! Their favorite activities include zooming through the house in kitten races, staging friendly wrestling matches, and piling together for cozy snuggle sessions. They adore wand toys, cat trees, tunnels, spring toys, fuzzy balls, and feather mice—anything that encourages playtime. Like most energetic little boys, they'll play with endless enthusiasm until they suddenly decide it's time for cuddles. Then they'll happily seek out their people, purring contentedly while soaking up every bit of affection. Austin and Aubrey are wonderfully social kittens. They are cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and kid-friendly. They have excellent litter box manners, aren't picky eaters, and have easygoing personalities that help them settle in quickly. These brothers would love to stay together if possible. They are the perfect balance of adventure and affection, bringing endless laughter, companionship, and love wherever they go. After such an uncertain beginning, Austin and Aubrey deserve a future filled with warm laps, playful days, peaceful nights, and a family that will never let them wonder if they're wanted again. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year.
