Meet Carrot! Carrot is proof that orange-girl magic is very real. At about 11⁄2 years old, this beautiful orange tabby is an absolute sweetheart. She's gentle, affectionate, and loves attention—the kind of girl who is simply happy to have someone nearby giving her love. Carrot also has a wonderfully easygoing nature. We think she would be perfectly content as an only cat, soaking up all the attention for herself, but she's also shown that she can be a lovely companion for an older, calmer feline friend. She does have one adorable little quirk: the very tip of her tail has a tiny kink, likely from an old injury. It doesn't bother her in everyday life, but she's understandably a little sensitive about having her tail touched. So we'll just admire that cute crooked tip with our eyes. Carrot came to us from a trapping site, but this girl showed us right away that she is most definitely tame—and once we got to know her, we discovered just how lovely her personality really is. Carrot has done the outside thing. Now she's ready for something much better: soft beds, gentle hands, plenty of attention, and a family of her very own. If you're looking for a sweet, undemanding companion with a gentle heart—and an extra-special little tail—Carrot may be your girl. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year.
