While she's affectionate, she enjoys being petted only on her own terms; a few gentle strokes are enough, and she’ll let you know when she needs a break. Winnie is in search of a special home due to a quirk where overstimulation can lead to her playfully swatting or grabbing at hands or ankles. While this can be unexpected, it typically passes quickly. Living with a patient foster has helped reduce this behavior, and we believe she’ll continue to improve in a supportive environment. She has had a thorough veterinary evaluation and is currently doing well on a low dose of anti-anxiety medication. Routine and engaging playtime are essential for her well-being. This sweet girl needs an adult-only home, preferably with someone who understands cat body language and is committed to engaging with her through play. Winnie may also appreciate a confident, playful feline friend after proper introductions. Winnie is not asking for perfection—just patience. In return, she offers companionship and a growing bond of trust. She can become your curious partner, keeping you company during the day and cuddling beside you at night.
