Alfie is a sweet and special boy! He is mellow, not a big barker, and has a playful side, too. He is surely one to become an adopters little shadow. Alfie is around 1-2 years old and about 11lbs. He is gentle and fun and is overall happy go lucky. Alfie is good with other dogs of all sizes, likes to lounge and explore the yard, and will make a wonderful companion to a lucky family. He loves human attention and being pet, is a little lap dog who also enjoys adventures, enjoys treats and chew bones, and is good on leash. Alfie was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter. We are looking for a loving home for this boy and and one who will spoil him like he deserves. Alfie loves to be close, snuggle, and loves his people! He will make a great sidekick and walking/adventure buddy! Why you will love Alfie: Small & Mellow: he is the perfect lap-sized companion. Animal Friendly: He is a gem who gets along with dogs (big and small) and cats, too! Sweet Soul: Alfie is currently thriving in foster! He takes treats gently, is good with other dogs, and fairly go with the flow. Alfie is potty trained in his fosters routine, great when home alone and is fine to be in a gated area, too! He is also good in the crate. Alfie did well for his bath and grooming, and has been doing good on car rides to his appointments. ***We are looking for an adopter for Alfie who has an already established groomer / grooming reference as he will need routine grooming throughout the year.*** Alfie is up to date on vaccines, neutered, on preventatives, microchipped, and dewormed.
