Meet Sage. Sage is a 1.5-year-old, 55-pound German Shepherd mix bursting with a happy spirit and a great mix of playful energy and relaxation. She loves outdoor adventures, running around, and playing, but she also enjoys snuggling up with her people afterward. Belly scratches? She can’t get enough of those! This girl is exceptionally friendly and always welcomes newcomers. Sage gets along well with dogs and cats, granted they have proper introductions, and she does well with kids, making her an ideal addition to any family. Sage is intelligent and already knows several commands including her name, sit, stay, and shake. She comes when called most of the time and loves to show off, especially when there's attention involved! One thing to keep in mind: Sage isn't keen on water, so don’t expect her to volunteer for a day at the lake. However, she will enthusiastically cheer you on from dry land. Sage embodies fun and affection, ready to enjoy an active day with her new family and then settle in for some well-deserved downtime. With her amicable nature and compatibility with people and pets, she’s eagerly waiting for a family of her own. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
