About Frannie

Meet Frannie, a lovable Chihuahua who will join us at NCCR on 8/29/26 after being transferred from a full shelter. We believe she’s around 7-8 years old and weighs a tiny 10 lbs. Frannie is the epitome of a lap dog, enjoying snuggles and cuddles. She's friendly with both dogs and cats, establishing her boundaries without any fuss. While she's house trained and quick to go out when asked, she’s still figuring out the best way to signal that she needs to go. Her sweet disposition makes her a joy to have around. For those interested, approved applicants can join our popular Slumber Party program to take Frannie home for two weeks to see if she’s the perfect match. If you’re considering adoption but aren’t quite ready, fostering could lead to a lovely future together, either for you or the family you prepare her for. Remember, if you're interested in adoption, start with the Adoption Application on our website. Adoption is available out of state, but you must travel to meet her first. It’s a rewarding commitment and could lead to a lifelong friendship!
