About Suzie

Meet Mama Suzie! Suzie is a sweet and affectionate adult mixed-breed girl with a heart as big as her love for snuggles and adventure. Her breed may be a mystery—Lab, Beagle, Hound, you name it—but her affection is unmistakable. This girl is the total package for someone seeking a loyal companion. She absolutely adores attention and cuddles, convinced she's a lap dog. When she wants some love, she leans right into you, soaking up every bit of affection. Don't let her cuddly nature fool you; Suzie has a serious adventurous side. She's bursting with energy, loves to chase squirrels, and has even jumped a 6-foot fence—twice! The good news is she just barked to let her people know where she was. Suzie needs a home that keeps her body and mind busy. Her ideal person will be active, giving her plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She's house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and loves rope toys. At night, she settles in comfortably downstairs. Though initially reactive when meeting new people, especially men, she can be gradually introduced with treats. Suzie has lived with other dogs but shows some resource guarding behaviors. Ideally, she would thrive as the only dog or with a laid-back pup who respects her space. Suzie is a delightful blend of sweet and spirited, affectionate, funny, and full of personality. If you can provide the structure, activity, and love she craves, Suzie could be your perfect match. She has so much love to give. Apply online to meet this wonderful girl!
