Bessie is a wonderful, gentle soul looking for her forever home. Coming from a background of caretaking, she has lavished love on her puppies and now deserves to be spoiled herself. This chihuahua mix boasts beautiful tricolor markings—brown, black, and white—and has adorable, soft ears that frame her sweet face. Weighing around 11 pounds, Bessie is fully grown and was born in early April of 2025. Bessie’s personality shines through every little wiggle and zoomie she performs around the yard. While she feels comfortable sharing space with larger dogs, she finds her snuggle buddies among the cats at her foster home. She does well with children and has shown no interest in the chickens or rabbits nearby. Already potty trained, Bessie sleeps soundly through the night in her crate and is learning her basic commands and leash manners. She loves to curl up in a warm blanket, and while she’s great at entertaining herself, she also enjoys snuggling and exploring what it means to be a playful young dog again. As she waits for her special someone to come along, Bessie is soaking up love, attention, and playtime with her foster family.
