Stella is a 9-month-old Poxer (also known as a Box-a-Pug) who is small in size but absolutely mighty in personality! This adorable little love bug's favorite place in the world is right next to her person. If you're sitting down, she wants to be with you. If you're walking around, she's following you. And if you aren't giving her enough attention, she may just bunny-hop her way right out of the dog pen or jump up your legs to remind you that HELLO... she needs pets! Stella is playful, affectionate, social, and wonderfully quirky. She loves fetch, balls, toys, belly rubs, and giving kisses. Take her outside and she may suddenly forget she's a grown dog and start rolling around in the grass like a giant goofy puppy. She also has an impressive talent for gobbling down her dinner as quickly as possible because, naturally, there are much more important fun things to get back to! She absolutely loves people, including children of all sizes, and she is dog-friendly with no issues. She has shown no aggression toward people or other animals and has no food or toy aggression. Stella would make a wonderful family dog because she is social, playful, affectionate, and happiest when she gets to be part of the action. Stella is still working on her potty training, so her new family will need to continue helping her learn. She also isn't a huge fan of being alone. She may bark when left by herself because she would much rather be hanging out with her people! When she is free-roaming with her family, however, she typically isn't a barker. She is also working on learning that her crate isn't quite as terrible as she thinks it is. She may protest at first, but she eventually settles down and sleeps through the night in her crate. After she has gotten her zoomies and playtime out, Stella is happy to snuggle up with you and soak up some affection. And when she sleeps, be prepared for the cutest little snorts and snores you've ever heard! Stella is playful. Stella is affectionate. Stella is goofy. Stella is a little bit quirky.
