After a thorough vet check, he settled into a small kennel at the shelter, hoping someone would come for him, but that never happened. Now in foster care, Potter shows what a great companion he can be. He’s fully house-trained and prefers not to be crated, although he will quietly stay in one if needed. Weighing about 55 lbs, he's a bit underweight and could use some extra food to help him bulk up. His food motivation is strong, so a little guidance will ensure he stays out of trouble. Walking well on a leash, he has a habit of orbiting around his person, but with a few treats, he picks up how to walk nicely. Potter thrives in a home where he can be with his humans most of the day, eager for cuddles and affection. While he hasn’t lived with other dogs, he’s greeted every pup he’s met on walks with ease.
