Smiley is a 2-year-old Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound mix who came to K-9 Lifesavers from a crowded shelter in Tennessee. At just 24 pounds, he's a smaller fella and a great size for all kinds of adventures. Smiley is as sweet as he is adorable. He loves giving gentle kisses and will happily roll right over for belly rubs. He does well with other dogs and has a happy, friendly personality that is sure to win you over. Smiley is fully vetted and ready to head home! He'll make a wonderful companion for some lucky person, couple, or family. Whether it's walks, outings, or just hanging out together, Smiley is ready to be your sidekick. Ready to put a Smiley in your life? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
