About Violet

Meet Violet. She arrived after a volunteer flight from far away, traveling with her buddy Ernestine on their trip to safety. Picked up as a stray, Violet’s journey took plenty of coordination and generosity, but she’s finally landed where she’s safe and cared for. Violet is an older Beagle, roughly 15 years old and about 21 lbs. She’s both blind and deaf, but that doesn’t keep her down. Violet moves around with confidence, though she’ll need a home without stairs or an adopter willing to carry her when needed—she deserves the royal treatment. She’s currently living in Severn, MD as her foster family gets to know her. Violet gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making her a fit for a gentle and patient home. Ready to fall in love?
