About MeeMaw
Meet MeeMaw! She may be 14 years old, but age only adds to her charm. With a history that includes memories of when gas was cheap, MeeMaw may be a bit hard of hearing and her hips might complain when she stands up. Her teeth? Let's just say they look like they've experienced a lot. Despite these quirks, MeeMaw's spirit is nothing short of amazing. As a 50-pound pit bull mix, she’s the ultimate velcro dog, sticking close to her humans and relishing every moment spent curled up on the couch. She's housebroken, crate trained, and enjoys peaceful coexistence with both dogs and cats. Her gentle nature shines through as she walks gracefully on a leash and loves to roll around in the grass. Even with missing teeth and arthritic joints, her kindness remains unwavering. Right now, MeeMaw is undergoing heartworm treatment and receiving pain management for her arthritis. This makes her eligible for our Post-Medical Adoption Program, allowing you to welcome her into your home while HAR covers the remaining treatment costs. If you're ready to be the Moonpie to this sweet girl, apply to adopt her today and offer her the cozy spot on the couch she truly deserves!
