Meet Rusty, a delightful young Australian Cattle Dog mix looking for his forever home. He'll be available for adoption at the event at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley on Saturday, 8/29 from Noon to 2:00 PM. Rusty is about a year old and weighs approximately 30 lbs. He thrives in a loving environment with a secure fenced yard, as he can jump surprisingly high. Rusty is friendly with kids, although he would do best with older, considerate children. He's also very dog-friendly and ideally needs a canine companion in his future home. Cats don’t phase him much, and he can share space with them if given proper introductions. Rusty is house trained and crate trained, and he's made great strides with his potty training, though he might have the occasional accident during transitions or inclement weather. This intelligent boy loves to cuddle after playtime and often expresses his affection through gentle face licking. While he enjoys being active, he also knows how to relax when it's nap time.
