About Morning Glory

If you are interested in any of the dogs available at New Leash Rescue, you can reach out to the foster listed below for more information and then complete an adoption application which can be found at https://www.newleashrescue.org/adopt/policy. Please email the completed application to newleashrescue2018@gmail.com Hey there, I'm Morning Glory! ? Yes, like the flower — cute, vibrant, and a little wild if you don’t give me enough to do. I’m about 2 years old, full of personality, and rocking some seriously fabulous ears (I mean, have you seen them?!). I came to rescue from a reservation a bit too skinny, but don’t worry, I’ve bounced back and now eat like a champ. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and not to brag, but I’m also incredibly charming. I do bark sometimes when I’m having fun or trying to get in on the action, it’s called expressing myself, and it’s totally normal dog behavior. Let’s be real though , I’m a working dog. Herding is in my DNA, and lounging around all day just isn’t my vibe. I need mental stimulation, regular exercise, and a family who gets my drive. Small kids? Probably not the best match, I need a home that understands herding breeds and all our spicy quirks. Apartment living? Yeah… that’s gonna be a no from me. I’m not just looking for any home, I’m looking for the right one. If you’re experienced, active, and ready for a smart, sassy girl who will keep you on your toes (and your heart full), I’d love for you to apply. Adoption fee: $500 + tax (Checks? Sorry, I don’t accept those. I’m classy like that.) ? Questions? Email tschlax@gmail.com --- Important Human Info: Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
