About Courage
Courage is a remarkable Golden Retriever who entered the rescue on August 19th after experiencing severe mistreatment. This girl has shown incredible resilience despite her past, escaping a situation that many wouldn’t survive. Thanks to quick intervention, she was brought to an emergency vet where, surprisingly, her bloodwork showed better results than anticipated. Currently, Courage is in a loving foster home, receiving the medical care she desperately needs. She’s undergoing treatments for a full-body yeast infection and is on antibiotics, all while resting in a cozy bed. Weighing in at just 48 pounds upon arrival, she’s gradually increasing her food intake to help her regain strength. Courage’s spirit shines through despite the overwhelming neglect she has faced, and we are hopeful for her recovery. Thanks to the support of donors, we can give Courage the chance she deserves. We’ll keep you updated on her progress and when she’ll be ready for adoption. Let's make the next chapter of her life a happy one. Click apply to start the adoption process.
