Meet Millie Lynn, an almost 7-month-old (8/21) Golden Retriever mix, weighing 35 pounds (as of 7/27/26). This sweetie pie from Tennessee was surrendered by her owners, but she knows she'll absolutely be the perfect dog for you! Why's that? Well, read her stats: Millie Lynn: - She's a Southern lady who's sweeter than sweet tea (which is very sweet!) - Playful, affectionate, and easygoing - A social butterfly who'll always throw a party for friends and strangers - Eager to please so training should (hopefully) be a breeze - Always ready for her next adventure: Playdates at the park, long hikes on the trails, curling up beside you for a cozy movie or even a late night breakfast at IHOP! Millie Lynn gets along with other dogs and has lived with cats and bunnies. She's respectful around children and will even give kids kisses for acing their math homework! She's doing well on leashes, is okay in crates (but she's not exactly a fan) and she's now house-trained though she hopes you're patient with her once she adjusts to your home! - Update from Foster: Millie would benefit from an adopter who works from home as she has shown some separation anxiety. Her foster mom is giving her trazodone and using a heavy duty dog crate when they leave the home which has helped so will need an adopter willing to continue that regimen and continue working through this with her. She is very smart, wants to learn, super loving and affectionate. She loves attention, does well with everyone she has met. My girls are 10 and 15 and she adores them. MEDICAL DISCLOSURE: Millie Lynn has some hair loss likely from fleas/ticks from her past. This lovely girl is waiting for you! What are you waiting for?! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
