Introducing Her Royal Highness, Juno Princess! A gorgeous 1 year and 4-month-old Great Pyrenees, weighing about 65 pounds (as of 8/25/26)! This regal beauty had tough beginnings when she was left by an old neighbor tied up to a chicken coop. But isn't that how all great fairy "tails" start? Juno Princess is destined for the finer things in life and hopes to be a part of your kingdom! Juno Princess is a true, down-to-earth royal who's sweet, energetic, playful, and loves everyone she meets! She is housebroken and loves to play with all kinds of dog toys. She is a huge snuggler and will happily be a couch potato or late sleep in with you girl. She would thrive in an active home because no royal should be dillydallying all day. She's a Golden Retriever in a Pyr body so another home with a playful dog (or two) to help burn her energy would be wonderful. Juno Princess is a fair ruler of the animal kingdom and lived with with dogs, cats and even chickens! (Though she has been hunting baby bunny nests in her current foster home so maybe not rabbits or guinea pigs.) With her experience with kids, Juno Princess is also able to do the unthinkable: bring smiles to a teenager's face! Like every good royal, she understands the importance of conflict resolution. Give this girl a Nobel Peace prize! She's a little shy at first with strangers, but warms up quickly and demands pets as any royal should. She truly wants ALL the love and attention of her subjects so be sure to please! This girl insists on regular exercise to keep her energy levels at bay. If you like to hike through enchanted forests or slay fire-breathing dragons in your spare time, she's the girl for you! Every once in awhile, she'll make a royal decree to the neighborhood, but she's easily told to stand down. Juno is good on a leash and her no pull harness and loves her crate to the point of eating and sleeping in it. She's also VERY food motivated so with your help and a couple of royal bribes, she'll master more commands in no time and be more than ready to rule your kingdom with a fair and just paw! If you're looking for the queen of your castle, adopt Juno Princess today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Juno Princess, you must fill out an adoption application. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
