Wolfie is a little shy - she is the only introvert in the litter. She is very affectionate and sweet and likes to connect with people. Wolfie likes to be held and sleep on a lap. Car rides and crowds are her least favorite things. Perhaps it is the predominance of shepherd in her - she has her mother's Australian shepherd but maybe dad was a German shepherd? She sure looks like it, which is why her name is Wolfie. She has a dark narrow muzzle on a tan face and occasionally her ears stand up on her head. Shepherds tend to be very devoted to their people and more reserved with strangers. It's not that they are not friendly, they just take a minute to warm up. While they make great family pets, they may gravitate to one person for safety and comfort. Her mom's DNA is all that we know. Mom is mostly Australian Shepherd with Labrador and some terrier with a dash of Rottweiler and cocker spaniel. Dad was a traveling man - and we know nothing about him. I'm going to guess based on a few of the floppy ears that some have German shepherd and perhaps a little border collie. (No one looks like the other!!) The kids should be between 45-60 pounds. All the puppies have been socialized since they were born. having been found on Day 2 and arriving at the Sanctuary on Day 4. The mom is sweet and friendly and was abandoned with other dogs. (All were rescued.) Wolfie is utd on all shots, wormed, microchipped and spayed. She will need her rabies shot at 16 weeks.
