Inky is bold, confident and slightly independent. He is also really, really sweet and a good, good boy. While he might run with the pack, he will always come back to see if he can sit closer or snuggle. He looks most like his mom, mostly black with white tips. His eyes are always searching for a connection to a person. He is a soulful buddy. He is also enthusiastic, joyful and athletic. He is a mid-pack member, which suits him just fine. He may protest, but doesn't hold a grudge. He could be a one-person dog or relate to an entire family - he is versatile. He wants to be liked and please his person. His mom's DNA is all that we know. Mom is mostly Australian shepherd with Labrador and some terrier with a dash of Rottweiler and cocker spaniel. Dad was a traveling man - and we know nothing about him. I'm going to guess based on a few of the floppy ears that some have German shepherd and perhaps a little border collie. (No one looks like the other!!) The kids should be between 45-60 pounds. Inky is right in the middle. Not the biggest and not the smallest. All the puppies have been socialized since they were born. having been found on Day 2 and arriving at the Sanctuary on Day 4. The mom is sweet and friendly and was abandoned with other dogs. (All were rescued.) Inky is utd on all shots, wormed, microchipped and neutered. He will need his rabies shot at 16 weeks. may protest but doesn't hold a grudge.
