About Weevil

Meet Weevil. He’s a gentle giant with a heart full of love. Despite his difficult past, Weevil remains sweet and affectionate. He was found in a tough situation — underweight, with hair loss, and considerable discomfort. Thankfully, he's now on the mend, receiving medications and a slow refeeding program to help him regain his strength. Weevil is also heartworm positive, likely due to his previous life outdoors without the care he needed. While he's undergoing treatment, he continues to be a gentleman, looking at everyone with appreciation. We haven’t yet tested how he gets along with other dogs. For now, it's best for him to decompress and heal in a peaceful environment. This loving boy didn’t choose his circumstances, but he sure deserves a chance to see how wonderful life can be.
