About Sadie May Bonded
Sadie May is a gentle, quiet senior Golden Retriever who has blossomed from her beginnings in a feral colony into a steady, affectionate companion. She’s shy at first—especially around men—but she warms up with patience and time, gifting her trust once she feels safe. Soft-spoken and mellow, Sadie shines in calm, peaceful homes and is bonded closely with Peanut, her longtime friend. She thrives best when they’re together, though Sadie could also do well as an only dog with someone who appreciates her gentle nature. A fenced yard is a must, as she enjoys short strolls and relaxing outside. Sadie is house trained, low-energy, and easy to live with. She prefers tranquility over hustle—busy homes and rough, loud dogs aren’t for her. She is best matched with adults or older, respectful kids and calm dogs who share her peaceful style. Sadie has chronic spondylitis managed comfortably with daily medication, and there is a benign cyst on her triceps. Despite these medical considerations, she’s in good health for her age and brings a soft steadiness to her surroundings. Her favorite thing is simply being near Peanut. This pair has leaned on each other for comfort for years, and they’ll need to stay together in their new home. Sadie is quiet, kind, and looking for someone patient and calm to share her steadfast companionship. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
