About Rose Golden Jul

Meet Rose Golden Jul, a shy yet gentle Golden Retriever waiting for her forever home in Pacolet, SC. She’s a dog who’ll thrive with the right person—someone patient and understanding. Having come to Carolina Poodle Rescue as a breeder release, Rose is learning to adapt to home life. She’s a little cautious and may get easily overwhelmed, but with a quiet environment and the guidance of another friendly dog, she’s making strides. Rose enjoys medium exercise and loves to explore once she feels safe. It’s important that her new home is calm, ideally with experienced adults who understand nervous dogs since she’s sensitive to noise and sudden movements. Large families or homes with children may not be the best fit for her. She’s currently working on her house training, crate training, and leash skills. Although it might take time for her to warm up to new people, she’s affectionate once she builds trust. Quietly observing her dog friends, she learns and mirrors their behavior, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to fit in. Prepare to give Rose the loving home she deserves.
