Kenji is an 85-pound German Shepherd with an athletic spirit and a serious love of having a job. This playful and smart pup thrives on activities, whether it’s dock diving, Fast CAT, flyball, or hiking. He also enjoys long outings where he can expend his energy, especially in the water. Despite his big personality, Kenji is fairly independent and isn’t always looking to be by your side. He knows basic obedience, is crate trained, and is house trained. While he walks nicely with proper equipment, he does best with mellow dogs; however, he can be selective with male dogs. Unfortunately, due to his high prey drive, he’s not a fit for homes with cats. Kenji is looking for an active, experienced owner who understands working breeds and can provide the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation he needs.
