About Jax
Jax is a playful, affectionate dog who quickly becomes loyal to those he trusts. He thrives on close companionship and loves giving face kisses or staying by your side. Jax has plenty of energy and is always up for an activity, particularly if it involves a chew or bone he can stash for later. He’s house trained and already knows how to sit, and he’s picking up “wait,” even though he’s not especially motivated by treats or toys. Jax appreciates patient guidance and steady routines. Because of his sensitive, nervous nature, Jax needs an experienced adopter who’s comfortable working with fearful dogs. Separation anxiety is a challenge for him, so he’d be happiest in a household where someone is home most of the time. Jax is looking for an adult-only home, without small animals or small dogs, and any introductions to other dogs should happen slowly and carefully since he takes time to feel comfortable with new canine buddies. He does get along with cats. For someone who values a deep bond with their dog and enjoys being needed, Jax has a lot to give. Jax is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. By the way, he’s a Capricorn—no surprise he’s so committed and dependable. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
