Meet Duke & Daisy Duke and Daisy are a bonded pair of 6-year-old Basset Hound littermates who have spent their entire lives together. After their owner became homeless, they were surrendered to rescue after living in a garage. Despite everything they’ve been through, these two are incredibly sweet. Their skin is still recovering from their previous living conditions, but they’re already looking and feeling so much better. Duke is the definition of a Velcro dog. He absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to be close to you. Daisy is a little more shy and reserved at first, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet personality starts to come out. They have essentially only had each other their whole lives, so they will need to be adopted together. They do okay around other dogs, but because they love human attention so much, they can sometimes resource guard their people from other dogs. After spending so much of their lives with just each other, Duke and Daisy are ready for a soft place to land, a family to love, and a home where they can finally feel safe and spoiled together.
