About Trina

Trina is a tiny little girl weighing just 3 lbs who was found abandoned in a cornfield. At about 9 years old, she has faced some health challenges but is making a nice recovery. Though she has a non-functioning rear leg that sometimes slips out of joint, she doesn’t let that slow her down; she still loves to run around and enjoy outdoor time. Trina prefers not to be picked up and may squirm if you try, making her a delicate companion. She needs a person or family who understands tiny dogs and their unique health needs, as she can be easily injured if not handled correctly. She does require a very attentive adopter who can keep her safe as she follows closely. While she is not potty trained, she uses a pee pad when available. Despite her challenges, Trina remains happy and affectionate. This special little girl is looking for a caring home, but please, no out-of-state adoptions. Ready to meet your new best friend?
