About Sonny Bono

Sonny Bono is a resilient dog who was rescued from challenging conditions in Southern California. He was one of five dogs found unfed and living in poor circumstances. After a serious head and neck injury that required surgery, Sonny was placed with a loving foster home once he was medically clear. Now, Sonny shows a vibrant and chill energy that's quite endearing. Despite his past, he’s affectionate and loves to bond with those around him. He gets along well with other dogs, especially his senior foster sister, given proper introductions. Sonny is great with children too, making him an ideal companion in a family setting. Keep in mind, he requires an experienced and confident handler to guide him.
