About Mochi

Mochi is a spayed female Pit Bull Terrier who will turn 4 years old in May. She was found abandoned with her litter at city hall in northeast Texas back in June 2022 and was later adopted by a couple. Unfortunately, they faced difficulties, leading to Mochi and her brother being returned to foster care. Named after a Japanese dessert they shared on their first date, Mochi's journey hasn't been easy. Initially, she was extremely weak and needed bottle feeding for weeks to build her strength. Today, she’s a healthy, athletic pup who knows commands and has a sweet disposition. Mochi is independent and has a protective side toward her foster mom. She needs to be the only dog in the home and is very reactive to other animals, so a quiet environment is a must. While she's never shown aggression toward people, she prefers a house without small children and enjoys car rides, walks with her harness, and hunting for birds. With a fenced yard as a perfect setting, Mochi will thrive in a loving home where she can fully bask in all the attention. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
