About Corky
Corky is a spirited male Pit Bull Terrier, soon to turn four in May. He was found in a litter abandoned at city hall in northeast Texas in June 2022 and was once adopted alongside his sister into a loving home. Unfortunately, due to the couple's divorce, he and his sister were returned to foster care. Corky has a curly tail that resembles a corkscrew, and he truly shines as a sweet love bug, especially with his foster mom. Corky thrives best as an only dog; he does not get along with other animals and is quite reactive to them. An ideal home for him would be one without small kids and a fenced yard where he can safely soak up sunshine. While he's smart and eager to learn—he responds well to treats—he requires a quiet atmosphere. He enjoys walks with his harness but might not feel comfortable in a dog park. Corky has never shown any aggression towards people, making him a gentle companion. Corky is currently fostered in Texas. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
