Meet Otis, a spirited 2 and a half year old male Cairn Terrier in Chicago, IL! This handsome wheaten boy came to us when his owner traveled too much for work. He is house-trained and has had no accidents in his foster home. Otis is full of energy and will thrive with plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. He does show some resource guarding with his food and toys, but otherwise, he’s polite and attentive. Although he recently got a summer cut, he still looks adorable. He loves car rides and enjoys the occasional treat like a "pup cup". While he generally gets along well with other dogs, he prefers his toys and food to himself. Currently, Otis has the freedom to roam his foster home and enjoys snuggling on the bed at night. He would do best in a household where someone is present most of the time, as he has shown some anxiety when left alone but has not been destructive while his foster folks are out. Otis is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm prevention.
