Meet Copper! Copper is a 6-month-old Lab/Shepherd mix who embodies the ideal companion. He is friendly, playful, and has a strong affinity for people, making him a great friend to both kids and other dogs. Having spent substantial time with a 10-year-old, he shows his gentle nature and love for children. His eagerness to learn shines through, as he’s treat motivated and adaptable. Once he feels safe, his confidence blossoms—just look at those adorable floppy ears, hard to resist! Copper recently completed a board-and-train program and is ready to find his forever home. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and is expected to reach around 65 pounds when fully grown. We believe he will thrive in a family environment and may even get along with cats given proper introductions.
