About Ruby
Ruby is a Labrador/Shepherd mix with the energy of a powerhouse and a heart full of affection. Ruby thrives on movement—she’s at her happiest when running, whether it’s zipping across a yard or keeping pace with you on a hiking trail. An hour of daily exercise and the room to sprint are musts for her routine. This five-year-old is also a gentle cuddlebug and doesn’t shy away from affection or long, cozy sessions by your side after an adventurous outing. If you’re all about the outdoors, Ruby is eager to be your go-to adventure buddy. She gets along with some dogs, though not all, so any new canine friends should come meet her in person first. Cats, however, are not her thing. Ruby's best fit is with an individual or couple who enjoys an active lifestyle and has a large yard where she can really stretch her legs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and house trained, ready for her next chapter in Sherman Oaks, CA. Think you are the one? Submit an application!

Questions about Ruby
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Ruby, being a Labrador/Pit Bull mix, thrives in a home with plenty of space and an active routine. A house with a large yard is ideal for her, especially since she needs room to run and play.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Ruby will do best with a large, securely fenced yard so she can stretch her legs and burn off her energy each day. Apartments without significant outdoor access are not a great match for her exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador/Pit Bull mixes like Ruby can be wonderful with older children who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs, especially given her active personality. Supervision is always best for younger kids.
