About Josie

Meet Josie! This 8-month-old Tortie kitten comes bursting with energy and spirit. Though she leans toward the quieter side, once you earn her trust, you’ll find her curling up for cozy cuddles and contented purrs. Josie loves to play with toys and chase her sister around the house. Don't be surprised if you find her napping in her favorite cuddly spots! Josie was born in foster care under a pregnant stray in Texas. She is FIV+ from birth, but there's good news: FIV is manageable and not a death sentence. It just means that caring for her involves keeping her indoors, up to date on vaccinations, and away from potentially harmful substances. To ensure her well-being, we recommend she lives either alone or with other FIV+ cats. Josie also gets along with dogs and children, making her a great companion for families! Our rescue is based in Texas, but we have transport options available to help her find her new home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
