His veterinary evaluations indicate no pain in his spine or legs, and X-rays of his mid-to-lower back show no significant abnormalities. The veterinarian suspects his issues may stem from nerve involvement, a congenital spinal condition, or past nutritional deficiencies. While further neck X-rays could be necessary should his symptoms worsen, he's currently on gabapentin to alleviate any potential nerve discomfort and is being encouraged with a higher-calorie diet to assist weight gain and muscle rebuilding.
