Meet Gelato! This affectionate 4-year-old male Rottweiler mix is a gentle soul who tips the scales at 53 lbs. Gelato is a bit timid but has a sweet nature, eagerly seeking attention and affection. While he’s learning to navigate his world, he already knows how to walk on a leash like a pro. Gelato is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, but don’t let that discourage you! All treatment costs are covered, and with your help, he can find a loving home during his recovery. Once his treatment is complete, he'll be ready to embrace a happy, healthy life without restrictions. He’s one of many dogs rescued from a difficult hoarding situation, and despite his past, Gelato is eager to experience love and safety.
