Sally is a 2.5-year-old Rottweiler/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger, adorable dinosaur head. She’s goofy, affectionate, and happiest when she’s curled up on the couch or soaking up belly rubs. Sally is housebroken, spayed, kennel trained, microchipped, and a great traveler. She was adopted as a rescue in April 2024 after being found in rural Kansas alongside two other female dogs. Originally believed to be a Labrador Retriever mix, DNA testing revealed she is actually 50% Rottweiler, 33% Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and 17% Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff). Sally lived peacefully with another dog and young children until a recent, unexpected fight over food dropped by a toddler. The incident resulted in a serious injury to the other dog and made it clear that Sally needs a different environment that prioritizes structure and safety. Sally is looking for a child-free home with an experienced dog owner and a secure yard. With the right person and environment, she’ll make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
