About Jackal
Jackal is a striking one-year-old male Australian Shepherd and Husky mix. Rescued on August 20th, 2026, he was found alongside his siblings, Badger and Puma, on State Route 821 in Washington County, Ohio. His tan-and-cream, medium to long-haired coat features subtle black shading, adding depth to his appearance. Jackal boasts an extra fluffy tail and a beautiful Shepherd/Husky face, complete with a white stripe on his forehead and a black button nose. His expressive eyes are particularly captivating; one is a pale blue while the other is brown. During an outdoor photo session, Jackal displayed his charming personality, making direct eye contact with the camera and enjoying hugs from the photographer. Weighing 36.5 lbs, he walked fairly well on a leash during their outing. With no alterations or vaccinations yet, Jackal has a lot of love and potential to offer. He’s currently held for the mandatory three-day stray hold, giving his family a chance to reclaim him, should they prove ownership. Are you ready to welcome this bundle of fluff into your home?
