Rebel is a charming young male Australian Shepherd mix, likely around one year old, who found himself at the HSOV on August 2, 2026. Rescued from Dawes Circle in Marietta, Ohio, he came with a collar featuring a current dog tag license, raising hopes of a swift reunion with his family. Unfortunately, despite efforts to locate them, no one has stepped forward to claim him. This delightful dog sports a white shorthaired coat accented by a playful brown patch at the base of his long tail. His adorable face is framed by floppy ears — his right ear has unique brown spots, while his left is solid brown. With dark brown eyes and a black button nose, Rebel captures hearts with his charming appearance. During outdoor interactions on the day he arrived, he displayed a ton of playful energy, happily running laps and even pausing to greet some nearby shelter cats. Despite being a small boy, weighing about 30 lbs, he has a big personality. Rebel will remain under a mandatory 14-day hold to give his family a chance to find him.
