Meet Stubz! This 5-month-old Shepherd mix weighs around 35 pounds and is full of affection and playful energy. He enjoys being close to his people while still having those delightful puppy moments. Although he's settled down quite a bit, he can still become mouthy when he's overly excited. At home, Stubz is crate trained and calms down after a few minutes. He's still mastering house training and needs regular outings, though he may have an occasional accident when anxious. Stubz loves outdoor adventures—hiking, running, and playing in the woods are his favorite activities. If you're giving him belly rubs, be prepared; he’ll gently paw at you to ask for more if they stop. This charming pup can be a bit shy around new people, but with time, treats, and a gentle approach, he warms up. He's interacted well with middle and high school-aged children, though his experience with little ones is limited. Stubz enjoys the company of other dogs but has a rough play style and sometimes doesn’t notice when other pups need a break. He’d thrive in an active and patient home that will continue his training to build confidence. While another compatible dog and a fenced yard would be helpful, they aren’t a hard requirement.
