Currently located in La Grange, KY, Miss Honey is eagerly looking for a loving home where she can thrive and be the wonderful companion she is.
About Miss Honey
Miss Honey is spayed and fully healthy. She's up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Currently living in a foster home, she is reliably potty trained and lets you know when itβs time to go out. Miss Honey prefers to roam freely in a dog-proofed area rather than being confined to a crate. She does need some continued training; she may bark, pull, or jump on the leash towards other dogs and people. A calm neighborhood and an experienced handler will help her thrive. Miss Honey would be happiest as the only dog in the household, as she loves being the center of attention and does not do well with cats. She's best suited for a home with older, dog-savvy children who can respect her boundaries. This absolute sweetheart adores following her people around. She has a playful side, enjoying short bursts of fun in the yard, but after about 20 minutes, it's time for a cozy nap. Miss Honey loves to lounge on the couch and be as close to you as possible. With her friendly demeanor, she welcomes every person she meets and will eagerly roll over for belly rubs, sharing gentle kisses in return. She would benefit from a patient adopter who can help her channel her energy positively to curb any mouthing or jumping when she gets overstimulated. Miss Honey's adoption fee has been generously sponsored, making her the perfect companion waiting for a loving home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
