About Miso
Miso is a 1.5-year-old, 79 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This big, goofy boy is quite handsome, sweet, spunky, and full of personality. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playtime, but prefers slower introductions to help everyone feel comfortable. Miso is strong and enthusiastic, so he will need a confident handler who is ready to work with him on his manners and training. He is smart and treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for further training and socialization. Miso thrives with structure, consistency, and mental engagement. This adventure-loving dog would thrive in an active family who enjoys hiking, long walks, and outdoor exploration. Daily exercise is essential to keep his young energy in check, along with opportunities to stretch his legs in a securely fenced yard. Miso is a lovable goofball looking for a forever home that appreciates his size, strength, and wonderful personality. If you're ready for a hiking buddy with a giant heart, Miso might just be the one for you! Miso is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is waived.
