About Willow

Willow, nicknamed Sharkie, is a charming mix of Basset Hound and American Staffordshire Terrier, around 4 to 5 years old. This sweet girl is known for her snuggling skills, love of car rides, and delightful bursts of energy. Willow was rescued from a dire situation and is now spayed, fully vaccinated, and housebroken, ready for her forever home. She thrives on companionship, especially with men, and enjoys being with older children. While she does bark at newcomers, her friendly nature means she warms up quickly. This lovable pup would prefer a home where someone is around most of the day unless it involves going for a fun car ride! She would do best as the only pet or with a very calm dog; cats may also fit in with proper introductions. Willow is not leash-reactive, but she appreciates a bit of space from other dogs while out on walks. Her previous adventures have left her with a healing knee and some scarring, but she’s a resilient and happy spirit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
