Smurf is a playful and goofy boy who believes every creature is a potential friend, ready to join him in his adventures. At just 9 weeks old, he’s nearly housebroken and eager to learn; his food motivation helps him grasp new commands quickly. Smurf enjoys lounging in human laps for cozy naps and is mastering the art of being calm in his kennel. Born without a paw on one front leg, Smurf walks and plays with no issues. While a prosthetic foot could benefit him later to balance his legs, his growth stage means waiting a bit before taking that step. He's expected to weigh between 40-60 lbs when fully grown. Currently, he's in foster care in Aurora, CO, and will be neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before going home.
