Byron is a charming 10-year-old male Poodle mix residing in Ramona, CA. Weighing approximately 24 pounds, he has a lovely yellow/tan coat. Byron is vaccinated and shows no special needs at this time. He is a senior dog who enjoys cuddles and has a calm demeanor. He’s house trained and has been known to sleep well through the night, making him an ideal companion.

About Byron

Byron came to the Yucca Valley Animal Shelter after losing his owner, which understandably left him feeling sad and confused. Thankfully, within a week, he began to reveal his sweet and friendly personality. He even took a dip in the kiddie pool, showing off his playful side! At 10 years old and weighing 24 pounds, Byron is a delightful companion. He loves mingling with the other dogs in the play yard and has been described as a good-natured boy. Although you might notice a large mass on his chest, it’s been confirmed to be a benign lipoma. His surgery to remove it is scheduled for October 7th. Byron recently had a two-week stay in a foster home where he thrived. His foster mom shared that he relaxes during car rides, sleeps peacefully through the night, and enjoys cuddling, even asking to hop into bed.
